I take taxis fairly often, so I can compare a few. North End drivers have always been equipped with GPS; many are long time drivers who know the area (Snohomish County/north King County), and they've usually offered me the choice to take the fastest route or the cheapest route. Never been hounded for a tip, like some other companies that only allow expensive tip options on their computerized payments. Best service for me is I can set up a ride in advance, so I'm sure to make appointments.
